Rental Policies for Rentalex of Kalamazoo Michigan

THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL GUARANTEE THAT YOUR EVENT IS HANDLED IN A TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL MANNER!

· RENTAL FEES: All charges are for time out, whether used or not. Most items are available Friday-Monday or Pickup the day before bring back the day after your event for our daily rate. Any items kept past these times are subject to additional rental fees. Fees will be added to your contract and charged to your credit card on file.

· PAYMENT: All event contracts must be completely paid 2 weeks prior to event. A delivery/pickup date will not be confirmed and items will not be secure on any unpaid contracts. Once a delivery date and time has been confirmed any changes will be at the discretion of RENTALEX and the current schedule of deliveries and pickups. Rentalex accepts cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) as form of payment, but require a credit card on file regardless of payment choice. The credit card is used as a deposit and will be used for payment of any additional rental fees, unreturned items, damaged items, and cleaning fees.

· DELIVERIES: All deliveries and pickups will be to the driveway unless otherwise arranged and stated on contract. Our minimum delivery fee is $35.00 each trip. Additional fees may be charged for unloading to areas other than our trucks tailgate.

· PICK-UP: Please have all rental equipment stacked, bagged, crated etc, and ready for pick-up as originally delivered. Items not returned to the delivery location after the event will be charged an additional pickup fee. Rentalex does not dismantle and clean up your party unless prior arrangements have been made. Our labor rate is $35.00 per hour, per man if we have to fold tables and chairs and hunt for our equipment. Dishes and glasses must be free of food and food must be shaken from linens. Linens should be placed in bags. (Please note linen instructions.)

· RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY: It is recommended that you book 3-6 months in advance to guarantee the availability of your items. A 25% Non-refundable fee is required at time of reservation to hold your items and date. We cannot guarantee your items until you have a reservation and paid a deposit. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to your event. Any cancellations without a 14 day notice will be charged 100% of the contract. EXCEPTION: FROM MAY 1-SEPTEMBER 30, ALL CONTRACTS MUST BE PAID 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE. CANCELLATIONS AFTER THE 30 DAY MARK WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE CONTRACT.

· DAMAGE WAIVER: An 8% non-refundable damage waiver is added to each contract which covers accidental breakage or damage to the rental equipment. Broken equipment must be returned in order to avoid replacement charges. Replacement costs will be charged to credit card on file on any equipment due to loss, theft, abuse, excessive staining, or intentional damage by the customer. Repair costs will be incurred by customer when equipment has been misused by the customer. Tables, chairs and other items must not be left exposed to inclement weather. An additional charge will be assessed for any items left in the rain or snow.

· MISS DIG: Customer is responsible for contacting MISS DIG at 1-800-MISSDIG a minimum of 72 hours prior to tent setup to check for gas lines, electrical lines etc. This is a free service. Rentalex will contact Miss Dig for you at a $35.00 charge. Customer is responsible for any damages to lines that are not marked off. Customer initial______

· EMERGENCY WEATHER: The customer is responsible for notifying RENTALEX of any inclement weather pending or occurring at an event site. In case of an emergency or after hours please call Sarah at 616-485-4045 or Jeff at 269-998-5464. Rentalex tents are not designed to withstand strong winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain, snow or other severe weather. If such weather occurs, all people should seek shelter in locations other than beneath the party tents or canopies. Rentalex reserves the right to take down any tent or canopy at our discretion if conditions warrant. Our main concern is always the safety of all people at any event. In addition, never allow fireworks near tents. You are responsible for any damage to rental equipment. Unfortunately, Rentalex has no control over the weather and we are unable to issue refunds for inclement weather.

· CLEANING FEES: All items are delivered clean and ready for use. Upon return all items, with the exception of linens and dishes, must be returned clean. Additional cleaning charges may be necessary if items are returned in non-standard condition. Examples of this would be food on tables or chairs, excessive mud on tables or chairs, stains on linens (review specific linen instructions), wedding accessories improperly packed or transported, tents or inflatables returned wet, etc.

· SAFETY: Safety of all event attendees is very important to us. Please be certain that you understand all conditions of rental. If any questions, please discuss with us prior to your event. We can provide additional instruction and demonstration of all items. Please ask for additional information about the items if there are any questions. Safety is both of our responsibilities.
